Rievere
Grand Rievere located on the north-east coast of Trinidad offers a
great spot to stay overnight and view the giant leather back turtles.
There are two hotels right on the beach which offer accommodation;
it is a great spot to stay, with a picturesque drive along the North
East coast.
- Asa
Wright
Asa Wright Nature Centre and Lodge offers overnight accommodation. It
is a great spot to stay, set right in the rainforest, it is ideal if
you're a bird lover, or if
you just want to get away from it all. There are trails for hiking,
and a small natural clear water pool. The accommodations are comfortable
and local meals are served. This lodge is world renowned for birders
as it is the smallest but most densely populated geographical area for
birds in the world.
- Pax
Guest House Mt. St. Benedict
Pax Guest House in Mt. St. Benedict offers Spartan accommodations,
but is a good spot for hiking and bird watching. The Guest house is
famous for its high teas.
- Petra
Place - Pointe a Pierre Wild Fowl Trust
Set in the midst of an oil refinery complex, it is the only one of
its kind. Petra's Place offers a spot to stay overnight and enjoy
this sanctuary; a very unique spot.
